Student advocacy • Family support
Every student deserves to be heard, protected, and supported.
When a child is struggling in school, families often feel overwhelmed, unheard, or unsure where to turn. We help families understand their options, communicate effectively with schools, and advocate for the educational support their children need.

Our mission
Standing beside students and families.
The mission of the Center for Students Rights is to protect and advance the rights of students in public schools. We work beside families to help ensure that every student is treated fairly, receives appropriate educational support, and has a meaningful opportunity to succeed.

Clear steps. Respectful advocacy.

Advocate
When appropriate, an advocate supports the family in solution-focused communication with the school.
“Children thrive when caring adults listen carefully, recognize their strengths, understand their needs, and refuse to allow them to be overlooked.”
